El Dorado County:
-----------------
Tim Steurer reports on a trip to Sweetwater Creek on 5/10 the following
highlights: SAGE SPARROW, CALIFORNIA THRASHER, and BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHER
along the trail in the chaparral 1/2mi east of the lake.  In the riparian,
there were the following:  VAUX'S and WHITE-THROATED SWIFTS, YELLOW-BREASTED
CHAT, WESTERN TANAGER, and LAZULI BUNTING.  Sweetwater Creek is located
along Salmon Falls Rd.

Fresno County:

On 5/10, Beverly Brock reports 2 BLACK TERNS, 4 CASPIAN TERNS, and several
dozen FORSTER'S TERNS at a commercial fish pond on Riverbend Ave., south of
Ashland Ave.

Madera County:
--------------
On 5/10, Beverly Brock reports 2 VAUX'S SWIFTS at the bridge where O'neil Rd
crosses Cottonwood Creek east of Hwy 145.

San Joaquin County:
-------------------
Kurt Mize reports a WANDERING TATTLER in the eastern corner of the
easternmost oxidation pond at the Stockton Sewage Ponds on 5/11.  To gain
access to the ponds, please go to the office located at 2300 Navy Drive.
From I-5, take Hwy 4 west to Navy Drive (north for a very short distance and
then west) to the office to sign in.  From the office return to Navy Drive
east to Tillie Lewis Rd. (south or right) to Hwy 4 and turn right again
(west).  The Sewage Ponds will be on the north side of the road after
crossing the river.  Proceed to the gate and wait to be let in.
