On 5/18, John Trochet reported an "OREGON" JUNCO nest with four large
nestlings in the Tall Forest portion of the Consumnes River Preserve.  This
may be a first record of this species nesting on the Central Valley floor.
Also, in the Tall Forest, he received a third hand report of a singing
YELLOW-THROATED VIREO.  The Tall Forest is in a closed portion of the
preserve.  In addition, there was a VESPER SPARROW was at the gate to the
Farm at the junction of Bruceville and Desmond Roads.
