Highlights: CATTLE EGRET, PINK-FOOTED SHEARWATER, SOOTY SHEARWATER,
LONG-TAILED DUCK, SWAINSON'S HAWK, RED KNOT, HAMMOND'S FLYCATCHER.
San Mateo Co.

On Apr 24, a HAMMOND'S FLYCATCHER was foraging in the low brush
along the path to the Captain's House near the Coyote Point Museum.

On Apr 23, the CATTLE EGRET was due east of the intersection of
Marine Parkway at Island Drive in Redwood Shores. (Don Pendelton)
On Apr 22, a CATTLE EGRET was due east of the intersection of
Marine Parkway at Island Drive in Redwood Shores. A SWAINSON'S HAWK
flew north over Highway 101 in Burlingame. (Ron Thorn)
On Apr 22, a CATTLE EGRET was on the lawn near the intersection
of Marine Parkway at Island Drive in Redwood Shores. A SWAINSON'S HAWK
was seen flying on Belmont Slough. On Apr 21, a se watch from
Pigeon Point reported a PINK-FOOTED SHEARWATER. (Peter Metropulos)
On Apr 21, a sea watch from Pigeon Point reported (924) SOOTY SHEARWATER,
(9) THAYER'S GULLS, (426 ; 365 were adult) HERRING GULLS and high counts
of (24,312) PACIFIC LOONS. (Ron Thorn)

On Apr 24, (150) RED KNOTS were seen on the Albany Mudflats off
of Buchannan Street. (Ted Koundakjian)
On Apr 24, the male LONG-TAILE DUCK was seen off of the breakwater
near the fishing pier at the Berkeley Marina. (Matt Brady)
On Apr 23, (40) RED KNOTS were seen on the Albany Mudflats half way
between Buchannan Street and Central Ave. (Robert "Kuhn")
