Highlights: LONG-TAILED DUCK, SOLITARY SANDPIPER, WANDER TATTLER,
RED-NECKED PHALAROPE, SWAINSON'S HAWK, LEWIS'S WOODPECKER, PALM WARBLER.
San Mateo Co.

On May 3, a SOLITARY SANDPIPER was found by Ron Thorn in the fresh water
marsh off of the public access trail a short distance south of the yacht
club at Coyote Point. (Ron Thorn, Al Eisner)
Sonoma Co.

On May 2, (2) WANDERING TATTLERS were seen at Bodega Head in Bodega Bay.
The female LONG-TAILED DUCK was seen at Campbell Cove. (Rick Lebaudour)
San Francisco Co.

On May 4, (8) RED-NECKED PHALAROPES were at the NW side of North Lake in
the eastern part of Golden Gate Park. (Bill Jones)
On May 3, a juvenile SWAINSON'S HAWK was seen at Fort Scott in the
Presidio. (Andy Kleinhesselink)
Marin Co.

On May 4, a PALM WARBLER was at the Historic "B" or Mendoza Ranch,
and a LEWIS'S WOODPECKER was found at the Fish Docks. Both
locations at Point Reyes National Seashore. (Oliver James)
