------- Forwarded message follows -------
Field trips for the Chapel Hill Bird Club will resume on Saturday
September 9, 2006. We will concentrate on finding migrating and
lingering summer birds. The destination for theis field trip is not
set at this time. Possible destinations are Mason Farm, Jordan Lake
or Falls Lake.
The field trip season through September 2006 is as follows:
September 9 - Local field trip
September 16 - No local field trip - Chatham County Fall Migration
Count (contact Will Cook)
September 23-24 - No local field trip - Fall Migration on the Blue
Ridge Parkway (contact Will Cook)

The local field trips will originate in the Glen Lennox parking lot
on highway 54 in Chapel Hill. We leave the parking lot at 7:30

possible, so please arrive a few minutes early to arrange the
logistics if our car pooling. Spotting scopes are a plus
particularly viewing across the local lakes. Appropriate dress for
wet footing and/or foul weather is suggested. The field trips
generally end by 12 noon. Bring food and water as you feel
necessary.
