4/09 - Storrs, UConn campus -- BOHEMIAN WAXWING.

4/10 - Storrs, UConn campus, Glenbrook Road between Storrs Hall and
CLAS building -- 8:30 AM, BOHEMIAN WAXWING.

4/10 - Storrs, UConn campus -- at least one BOHEMIAN WAXWING at 9:15.
All sightings of the Bohemian have been in the fruit trees by the CLAS
building, which is just across Glenbrook Road from Swan Lake in the NE
corner of campus (bottom right on this map:
http://www.sp.uconn.edu/%7Eucbsg/map.gif which is oriented such that
North is to the right. The fruit trees are on the west side of the
building.
From Glenn, Beth, Madeleine, and Eliza Williams:
4/10 - Storrs, UConn-CLAS Building -- (3:55-4:25pm) BOHEMIAN WAXWING
at previously described location, though in coniferous tree west and
across the street from the crabapple. It was in the presence of about
20 Cedar Waxwings. It remained in the large conifer except to come to
the ground to feed on dropped crabapples underneath the conifer. We
never saw it go to the fruit tree.

about 45 minutes between 12 & 1:00. (An exquisitely beautiful bird!)

DOWITCHER.

in a spruce tree by the CLAS building.

alone in the crabapple adjacent to the CLAS building entrance. Seen
from 12:30-2:00pm. It was very cooperative and obliging. Too bad we
had no camera. It was not flocking with the many Cedars on campus and
left its tree when a few Cedars arrived.

4/12 - Storrs, UConn campus -- 1 BOHEMIAN WAXWING. Found by in the
tall trees by the Wilbur Cross Library at 7:20 by Denny Abbott. Later
moved to the crabapple trees on the the west side of the CLAS
building. The bird was present when I left at 8:00 am.
