4/27 - Old Greenwich, Greenwich Point -- HARLEQUIN DUCK, 11:00 in same
spot as previously reported, SNOW GOOSE in cove just off first parking
lot on right.

4/27 - Old Greenwich, Greenwich Point -- stopped to see the Harlequin
Duck which was still there.

4/27 - Plymouth, Rt 262 at the Waterbury line -- 3 WHIP-POOR-WILLS.
Calling started just after 8 p.m.
4/27 - Madison, Hammonasset State Park -- WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER
continues.

4/26 - Madison, Hammonasset State Park -- 1 or 2 WHITE-RUMPED
SANDPIPERS. First seen in Nature Center pool hanging out with 3 Least
Sandpipers. Then seen in Restoration area just before sunset. Maybe
two different birds. This is a very early date!

outhouse at entrance to Willard's Isle trail

4/28 - South Windsor, Station 43 -- 10:30, the KING RAIL was well
seen and heard.

4/27 - South Windsor, Newberry Road, Station 43 -- a KING RAIL was
calling loudly when I arrived at the marsh at about 6:50 pm and
continued to call for the next hour. Also 2 VIRGINIA RAILS, 3
WILSON'S SNIPE, 2 AMERICAN WOODCOCK, & 1 WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW.

4/28 - Westport, Grace Salmon Park -- RUFF continues at 7:15 AM.
Westport, Sherwood Island State Park -- Snow Goose on the mill pond.

4/28 -- Westport, Grace Salmon Park -- From 10:45 to 11:30am the Ruff
was seen at the waters edge in the first cove and on the mud flats in
the second cove.

4/28 - Greenwich, Greenwich Point -- 12:30 PM, Harlequin duck, usual
spot - immediately in front of the first paved parking lot past the
tip of Greenwich Point, in with about 40 brant.

4/28 - Madison, Hammonasset State Park -- 6 Lesser Black-backed Gulls,
White-rumped Sandpiper.

4/28 - Old Greenwich, Greenwich Point -- SNOW GOOSE.

4/27 - Cheshire yard -- at least 1 PINE SISKIN singing and eating
thistle.

Canada Geese at 9:30.

4/30 - Westport, Imperial Ave., Grace Salmon Park -- RUFF continues
7am, even though high tide. It was on the narrow peninsula (with
birdhouse) just to the north.

4/30 - Portland, Portland Fairgrounds -- 2 Common Snipe, 1 Purple
Martin.

4/30 - Old Greenwich, Greenwich Point -- SNOW GOOSE swimming in cove.
No Harlequin Duck sighted.

the trails split on Willard's Island.
