Subject: Snow Buntings on Mt Mossilauke
From: "Timothy Charboneau" <charbs(AT)dca.net>
Date: 20 Nov 2009 10:25am
I joined a group for a Mt Moosilauke sunset hike and I saw 3 or 4 snow
buntings browsing the summit. My pics aren't very good because I was setting
up for landscape shots. Although not a rare bird they were a first for me.

Nov 2009
From: Jeremiah Trimble <jtrimble(AT)oeb.harvard.edu>
Date: 20 Nov 2009 3:02pm
Hello All,
I just got a call from Clint Lapierre who reports the Western Kingbird still
present through 3pm at the Rochester WWTP. The bird was perched along the
perimeter fence as has been previously reported.
Good birding,

Subject: Rochester WWTF (Western Kingbird and more)
From: Lauren Kras <lauren.kras(AT)gmail.com>
Date: 20 Nov 2009 9:00pm
Today I spent some time (10:30am - 12:30pm) at the Rochester WWTF. Facility
operators officially think I'm "out of my mind" for showing up in the rain.
I was joined for a short period by Jessie Knapp who's appearance magically
brought about sunshine.
A few notes/highlights below:
American Wigeon 1
Green-winged Teal 5
Lesser Scaup 2
Iceland Gull (Kumlien's) 1 Appears to be a different bird than was seen
earlier in the week/over the weekend. MUCH more pale.
Iceland/Thayer's Gull 1 Seen in flight only. Generally pale.
Wingtips paler than Herring Gull, but darker than expected for an Iceland
Gull of the same "paleness".
Lesser Black-backed Gull 1 JUVENILE continues
WESTERN KINGBIRD 1 Juvenile male continues... more photos at
http://www.flickr.com/photos/lkras/sets/72157622694228153/ from today and
yesterday... the video (http://www.flickr.com/photos/lkras/4117889678/) is
particularly adorable
