[ << | >> | ^^ ] Subject: hornd grebes From: fiddlinbill(AT)aol.com Date: 21 Dec 2009 2:57am Late post from last week, Drove up the coast- There were three winter plumage horned grebes off seal rocks in rye. They dove and I waited for them to surface. They either drowned or surfaced near the Isle of shoals. I know they can stay down for a long time but I had to leave. There were some long tails and surf scoters off Raged Neck, Rye.. Goldeneye of pulpit rock could have been the Barrows but too far out to ID. Bill Perry from Hampstead, NH
