Cool day with steady NE/E breeze for most of the day.Complete cloud cover
but no precipitation.
Raptor Observations:
5 migrating Red-tails just before 9am wit 2 in pm with a lone light morph
Roughleg.

30 migrating Tundra Swans in mid am

Horned larks have been spotted on Hwy. 11 south of Barrie, between Hwy 88
and Hwy 89 and on Hwy 27 south of Innisfill beach road. Linda Crome Brereton

Meet at Little Lake Park
Horned Larks are migrating through our area at this time of year. Searching
the local fields in the Minesing Flood plain may turn up Snow Buntings,
Lapland Longspurs, Rough-Legged Hawks and the odd Snowy Owl as well. Then we
are off to the Tiffin Conservation Centre for a pancakes and sausage lunch.
NOTE: *Remember to bring your own dishes and cutlery. *

Subject: [Ontbirds]Tundra Swans Norfolk County

Today two flocks numbering 40 & 38 flew over our farm in Norfolk County one
in the am the second in the pm. Judging by previous years, these are two of
many more flocks to follow over the coming weeks.

Directions from Woodstock: South on Hwy 59 to RR 13 (cross over Hwy 3);
Right onto RR 38 go west for10 kms to North Road; South on North Road 10.2
kms.
