West Perth Wetlands were quite productive this morning.  One of the cells has
had the water level dropped but the others still have little or no beach
showing. Sightings include

 

Shorebirds: Lesser Yellowlegs 1, Least Sandpiper 7, Spotted Sandpiper 8,
Killdeer 20

 

Waterbirds: American Coot 1, Redhead 1, GW Teal 1, BW Teal 2, Bufflehead 1, Wood
 Duck 6

 

Others: Caspian Tern 3, Tree Swallow 60+

West Perth Wetlands is on the south side of Mitchell.  From Hwy 8 (Ontario St)
travel south 1 km on Wellington Street to Frank Street. Continue south past the
ball field and park on the gravel.
