Hello all,
Congratulations to everyone who participated this year. Bird-a-thon is
always a grueling test of endurance.
I just want to comment on the King and Clapper Rails. Both are very
sensitive species in RI and I urge everyone to refrain from using tapes or
any other methods that could disturb them. Both birds seem very close to
each other (literally) and could be breeding. All it takes to see the birds
is a little patience. They are best viewed from the wooden sign in
Succotash.
Good birding,
Christian Nunes
