Hawk Migration Association of North America (HMANA)

HMANA monitors the migration and population of birds of prey throughout North America. Using standard procedures data has been collected since 1974 to advance the knowledge about hawk migration and populations. Site has an extensive set of resources for hawk watchers.

BIRDHAWK - HMANA Hawk Watching Exchange

Hawk Migration Association of North America (HMANA) in cooperation with National Birding Hotline Cooperative (NBHC) support a list for the discussion of topics related to hawk migration. The messages consists mainly (at least during migration) of raptor count reports from hawk watches across North America. You can view an archive of the messages through the above link or you can receive the e-mail messages directly by following the directions below.

BirdSource: Autumn Hawk Watch

Post your sighting counts and/or view results. Enter species or site, date info, and get a list of sighting results that may include: animated maps, summary maps, and summary tables

Hawk Mountain Sanctuary

As the home page says, "The World's First and Best-Known Refuge for Birds of Prey". A nice web site with the organization info you'd expect plus nice features like daily hawk counts, a migration timetable, events calendar, and information on visiting Hawk Mountain.

The Raptor Center at the University of Minnesotta

The mission of The Raptor Center is to provide medical treatment, scientific investigation, education and management of wild populations of raptors and other birds. Their web site has organization info and a good collection of images, recordings of vocalizations, and gif animations. They also have some interesting pages of current satellite tracking of bald eagles. The site also has a good list of links to other web sites.

HawkWatch International

HawkWatch International monitors and promotes the conservation of eagles, hawks and other birds of prey throughout the Western Hemisphere. They also provide public and classroom environmental education programs. Their web site has organization and membership info for HawkWatch International plus a few interesting articles from their newsletter.

Canadian Peregrine Foundation

A charity dedicated to assisting the recovery of the peregrine falcon and other Canadian raptor species. Site has live webcams, photo galleries, nest site reports, peregrine biology, and news.
