The Nature Conservancy is an international conservation organization dedicated to preserving plants, animals, and natural communities that represent the diversity of life on Earth by protecting the lands and waters they need to survive. Since 1950, the Conservancy and its members have been involved in the protection of over 6.5 million acres in 50 states, the Virgin Islands, Canada and the Caribbean.
