Welcome to the Arkansas Rare Bird Alert for August 14, 2008, sponsored by the
Audubon Society of Central Arkansas (ASCA). ASCA meets at 7:00pm the second
Thursday of each month at the John Gould Fletcher Library, located at 823
Buchanan St. on the corner of H and Buchanan Streets in Little Rock.
From around the state recent sightings are:
Ten Black-bellied Whistling-Ducks flew over the post office in Ogden in the
Southwest part of the state.
