Up to 40 SWAINSON'S HAWKS were seen along Highway 166 near the Cuyama High
School, on the 6th. This area is on the border of San Luis Obispo and Santa
Barbara counties. (Tom Edell)
COMMON GROUND DOVES were found in two locations on the 7th along Dana Foothill
Road in Nipomo. (Maggie Smith)
The male ORCHARD ORIOLE, first seen last January/February was seen on the 4th in
a private residence in Grover Beach. (Mitch Siemens)
