This is a summary of reports from the Northern California 
BirdBox, sponsored by the Golden Gate Audubon Society, compiled
02 May 2008 at 08:00 p.m.

Highlights: SOOTY SHEARWATER, PINK-FOOTED SHEARWATER, LITTLE GULL, 
GLAUCOUS GULL, FRANKLIN'S GULL, BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKE, 
RHINOCEROS AUKLET, MARBLED MURRELET, NORTHERN GOSHAWK, SWAINSON'S HAWK, 
PLUMBEOUS VIREO.

San Francisco Co.

On May 2, (3) FRANKLIN'S GULL were seen during a seawatch from
the terrace north of the Sutro Baths and Cliff House. (Brian Fitch)

On Apr 28 a PLUMBEOUS VIREO was observed today around 9:00 am on the 
south east side of the Buena Vista Park. From the top (accessed from 
Upper Ter) there is a stone stair leading to an oak clearing

Marin Co.

On May 2, a juvenile NORTHERN GOSHAWK and adult SWAINSON'S HAWK
were seen flying north towards Sausalito from Kirby Cove.

San Mateo Co.

On May 1, a seawatch from Pigeon Point reported a LITTLE GULL,
(2) GLAUCOUS GULLS, (2) BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKE, (303) SOOTY SHEARWATER,
(9) PINK-FOOTED SHEARWATER, (2) RHINOCEROS AUKLETS, 
(3) MARBLED MURRELETS, and high counts of (419) COMMON LOONS and 
(9677) PACIFIC LOONS. (Ron Thorn)
