Highlights: PINK-FOOTED SHEARWATER, SOOTY SHEARWATER, SANDHILL CRANE,
BLACK TERN, RUFUOS HUMMINGBIRD, BROAD-TAILED HUMMINGBIRD, CORDILLERAN
FLYCATCHER,
CASSIN'S KINGBIRD, EASTERN KINGBIRD, PINYON JAY, LECONTE'S THRASHER,
TENNESSEE WARBLER, CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER, NORTHERN PARULA, MOURNING WARBLER,
BLACK-THROATED SPARROW.
Marin Co.

On Jun 22, a MOURNING WARBLER was seen in a backyard in Dogtown, north of
Bolinas. (Ryan DiGaudio)
Mono Co.

On Jun 17, at the north end of Fish Slough Ecological Reserve, 10 miles
north of Bishop, a pair of CASSIN'S KINGBIRDS, LECONTE'S THRASHER, and
a singing BLACK-THROATED SPARROW were near the horse corral by the
interpretative sign. AT Wild Rose Canyon, a singing CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER
was seen. On Jun 18, a male COSTA'S HUMMINGBIRD and (15) PINYON JAYS
were seen below the dam at the Owen's River Gorge. On Jun 19, at Lundy Canyon,
NW of Mono lake, go to where the paved road ends, Lundy Lake - at the aspen
grove, a male NORTHERN PARULA and singing CORDILLERAN FLYCATCHER.
A BROAD-TAILED HUMMINGBIRD was near the 1st beaver pond. On Jun 20,
at Lundy Canyon, the BROAD-TAILED HUMMINGBIRD was seen again at the
CANO
a singing TENNESSEE WARBLER was seen 100 yards north of the parking lot.
On Jun 21, the male NORTHERN PARULA was seen again near the red cabin,
100 yards up the road from the general store. On Jun 22, from the east side
of Bridgeport Reservoir, along Hwy 182, north of the airport,
(4) SANDHILL CRANES and a BLACK TERN were seen. (Peter Metropulos)
San Francisco Co.

On Jun 21, the EASTERN KINGBIRD was seen across from the entrance to the
AIDS Memorial Dell in eastern Golden Gate Park. The bird was perched from a
snag kitty-corner to the entrance near the tennis courts.

On Jun 20, a sea watch from Pigeon Point reported (136) PINK-FOOTED SHEARWATER
