Highlights: TUNDRA SWAN, TUFTED DUCK, "VEGA" GULL, GLAUCOUS GULL,
BALD EAGLE, PRAIRIE FALCON, FERRUGINOUS HAWK, MOUNTAIN PLOVER, MOUNTAIN
BLUEBIRD,
VESPER SPARROW, ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK.
Contra Costa Co.

On Feb 7, the male TUFTED DUCK continues at the end of the peninsula
at the end of Clifton Court Road. A MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRD was seen on the
way to Bryon. AT Jewel Lake, an ALLEN'S HUMMINGBIRD and GOLDEN-CROWNED KINGLET
were seen. (Al DeMartini)
San Benito Co.

On Feb 6, (61) MOUNTAIN PLOVER, (350) MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRD, (1) VERSPER SPARROW,
and one of five PRAIRIE FALCON were along Panoche Road near the Spanish
Cattle Ranch. (2) BALD EAGLES and (5) TUNDRA SWAN were at Soap Lake
(San Felipe Lake). A dark-morph FERRUGINOUS HAWK was along Quien Sabe Road.
(1) BALD EAGLE was at Paicines Reservoir and another at the Bear Valley Fire
Station along Hwy 25. (Debi Shearwater)

On Feb 7, the ROSE-BREASTED GROBEAK continues just east of John Muir Pond
in the Arboretum in Golden Gate Park. (Dominik Mosur)
San Mateo Co.

On Feb 7, a first cycle gull that shows the characteristics of a VEGA GULL
was seen in the gull flock at the mouth of Denniston Creek in Princeton Harbor,
can be seen from Barbara's Fish Trap. (Al Jaramillo)
Santa Cruz Co.

On Feb 8, a 1st cycle GLAUCOUS GULL was at the mouth of Waddell Creek.
