LEWIS WOODPECKER continues at Irvine Regional Park around parking lot #16
(3/30).
YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER refound on 3/29 and 4/2 in a residential
neighborhood along the west side of Batavia about half way between Almond
and Palmyra Aves, Orange, in palm trees.
Wintering PINE WARBLER refound on 3/27 at Estancia Park in Costa Mesa (3/27)
near the parking lot on Boa Vista Drive.
Adult BALD EAGLE over/near Irvine Lake last Saturday (3/29).
SCISSOR-TAILED FLYCATCHER reported at the 6th hole of Newport Beach Golf
Course on the 30th..(.no observer name left.) Not found on subsequent
search.
SUMMER TANAGER continues on east side of Huntington Central Park (3/29) and
a PLUMBEOUS VIREO on the west side at Shipley Nature Center (3/29). Adult
male AMERICAN REDSTART near the Slater Street parking lot on the 27th.
450+ !! SURFBIRDS inside/at the new tidal opening at Bolsa Chica Preserve on
the 29th.
