We have an accessory website that has recent photos of rarities (when

Observers: Joel Weintraub, Neil Gilbert, Richard Thunen, Samuel Bressler, 
Ron Hirst, Pat and Dick Cabe, Steve Sosensky, David Bell.

On the Dana Point Headlands, the "Hilltop" area, an adult BLACK-THROATED 
SPARROW was seen and photographed on the 23rd.

A WHITE-WINGED DOVE was at a feeder in Hungtington Beach on the 18th (one 
day only) while another was at a feeder in Dana Point on the 22nd, and has 
defended that feeder against Mourning Doves since, last seen today (26th).

At least 11 (eleven) SOLITARY SANDPIPERS were found on the 25th in the Santa 
Ana River between Tustin and Lakeview (7) and upstream from Lakeview (4).  A 
YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRD was downstream from Lincoln on the same date.

Solitary Sandpipers were also found at San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary (21st) 
and at Huntington Central Park (22nd)

A SOLITARY SANDPIPER was at Huntington Central Park...seen last on...

The SOOTY TERN was last reported on the 22nd from Bolsa Chica preserve, on 
Tern Island.  An ebird report of at least 5 (five) REDDISH EGRETS were at 
Bolsa Chica on the 25th, with 4 adults seen simultaneously plus 1 immature.
