Lowndes Co., Georgia
--------------------
An AMERICAN BITTERN was seen in Grand Bay June 12 during a night survey
for alligators.

Recently fledged MISSISSIPPI KITES are now being seen in Valdosta,
including just north of the VSU campus.

Baker Co., Georgia
------------------
Many BACHMAN'S SPARROWs, a few RED-COCKADED WOODPECKERs, and a BARN OWL
were reported recently from Ichauway Plantation west of Newton (WC).

Wakulla Co., Florida
--------------------
Many lingering winter residents were at St. Marks NWR June 17, including
at least 40 AMERICAN WHITE PELICANS, MARBLED GODWIT, BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER,
SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHER and GREATER and LESSER YELLOWLEGs.  Also there were
an imm. REDDISH EGRET; LEAST, FORSTER'S ROYAL, CASPIAN GULL-BILLED, and
SANDWICH TERNs; AMERICAN OYSTERCATCHER, BLACK SKIMMER, and GRAY KINGBIRD
(WC).

On June 24, 13 AM. WHITE PELICANs, GR. YELLOWLEGS, and BB PLOVER remained;
also seen were an AMERICAN BITTERN, SEMIPALMATED PLOVER and WILSON'S
PLOVER (latter a probable nester).  Chicks of BLACK-NECKED STILTs and
WILLETs were also seen (JD,KA).

Leon Co., Florida
-----------------
A LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH, possibly a post-breeding disperser, was seen in
a NW Tallahassee-area yard June 23 (FR).
