This evening the first Georgia record IVORY GULL, an adult, first found at 
West Point Lake near West Point, Georgia in Troup County on the 25th, the 
southernmost IVORY GULL on record, and seen, enjoyed, and photographed by 
many this week, has passed away from injuries probably inflicted by a 
large predator.  Please check Georgia Birders Online

A VIRGINIA'S WARBLER, Georgia's 2nd, continues daily at a private 
residence in Valdosta, in Lowndes County.  First seen on the 15th, and 
seen daily since, this warbler is most reliably showing up at first light 
each morning for a brief period to visit a hummingbird feeder.  The 
homeowner is welcoming folks to try for the bird, contact information is 
in the second post following.
