A GREAT CORMORANT was seen today below the dam of Lake Walter F  
George (from the AL side of the river) near Ft Gaines GA.

  =This is presumably the same individual reported from the same  
location early Dec 2009.

One was also present here for a long period in the 2008-2009 winter.

Georgia's 2nd VIRGINIA'S WARBLER, which has been reliably visiting a  
feeder in Valdosta, Lowndes Co, failed to show up today for the first  
time.

A ROSS'S GOOSE was seen at the E.L. Huie Land Application facility in  
Clayton Co. Feb 24, but has not be seen again since.

from Albany Nursery WMA, 27 Feb
