ACCIDENTAL:
**NEOTROPIC CORMORANT**
Today (5-3-08), Steve Dinsmore found a first year NEOTROPIC CORMORANT at a
private wetland west of Riverton. The bird was easily seen and well photographed
along the flooded side of the road.
Directions: From the town of Riverton, take County Road J46 west, and cross the
Nishnabotna River. There is a private wetland on the south side of the road. The
bird was foraging in the flooded ditch.
