This is the New Brunswick Bird Information Line updated on Tuesday, January
15th, 2002.

New Brunswick's first GREEN-TAILED TOWHEE [Tohi a queue verte] is present
in West Saint John. It's best looked for around #580 Ridge Row, which is
off Manawagonish Road. Ask the homeowner for instructions on where to look
before wandering onto the property. This bird has apparently been present
in that area for about two weeks.

A CAROLINA WREN [Troglodyte de Caroline] has appeared at a feeder at #402
East Memramcook Road in Memramcook. Another is attending a feeder at 3706
Route 127 in Bayside, near St. Andrews.

New Brunswick's first confirmed BULLOCK'S ORIOLE [Oriole de Bullock], an
immature male, is still attending feeders at 1960 Brideau Street which is
off Miramichi Blvd. in Bathurst. This bird has been present since November.

A subadult male KING EIDER [Eider a tete grise] has beens seen several
times recently with a large flock of Common Eiders off Indian Point in St.
Andrews.

An adult GOLDEN EAGLE [Aigle royale] has been observed twice in the past
ten days around Daniel's Flats (once near Shepody and once near Hopewell
Hill) in Albert County. The best way to search for this bird is to go out
onto the opne marshland in this area and scanning the hills to the north.
