This is a Rare Bird Alert for Southwestern Ohio (Dayton) for
Monday, April 14, 2008, sponsored by the Dayton Audubon
Society.

On April 14th seen at Brukner Nature Center were WINTER WREN, EASTERN
TOWHEE, YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER, LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH, and BLUE-GRAY
GNATCATCHER.

On April 14th observed at Englewood MetroPark north park were BARN,
TREE and NORTHERN ROUGH-WINGED SWALLOW.

HORNED GREBE were seen at Englewood MetroPark on April 13th.

On April 13th a male BLUE GROSBEAK was photographed eating corn meant
for the squirrels at a residence in the Englewood area.

During the Dayton Audubon Society walk on April 12th seen were PINE,
YELLOW-THROATED, and YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER; NORTHERN PARULA, BLUE-GRAY
GNATCATCHER, RUBY-CROWNED KINGLET, OSPREY, BLACK VULTURE, SWAMP
SPARROW, SORA, VIRGINIA RAIL and FORSTER'S TERN.

On April 12th observed at Community Golf Course WERE PINE WARBLER,
HERMIT THRUSH and RUBY-CROWNED KINGLET.
