This is a Rare Bird Alert for Southwestern Ohio (Dayton) for
Thursday, February 11, 2010, sponsored by the Dayton Audubon
Society.

Seen at a private Brookville feeder on February 10th were a first
of the season NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD and an EASTERN TOWHEE.

Seen at a private Huber Heights feeder was a WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW.

Observed on February 9th at a private Springfield feeder were
BROWN-HEADED COWBIRD, DARK-EYED JUNCO Including one OREGON;
WHITE-THROATED, TREE, and SONG SPARROW; and TUFTED TITMOUSE and
NORTHERN FLICKER.

On February 7th three MERLINS were seen at the water tower at Caesar
 Creek State Park.
