This is a Rare Bird Alert for Southwestern Ohio (Dayton) for
Tuesday, February 16, 2010, sponsored by the Dayton Audubon
Society.

An immature BALD EAGLE was observed February 15th on the Stillwater
River just below IR 70.

On February 15th, a FOX SPARROW was seen at Englewood MetroPark.

On February 15th, observed at Killdeer Plains were LONG-EARED and
SHORT-EARED OWL; ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK, NORTHERN HARRIER, BALD EAGLE, and
an immature GOLDEN EAGLE.

Observed February 11th on SR 123 between Lebanon and Red Lion was a
WILSON'S SNIPE.

On February 14th, a first-year GLAUCOUS GULL was seen on the Great
Miami River near Sun Watch.
