This is a Rare Bird Alert for Southwestern Ohio (Dayton) for Monday,
April 26, 2010, sponsored by the Dayton Audubon Society.

A first-of-the-season BLUE GROSBEAK was seen at a Beavercreek
residence on April 26th.

Observed at a Trotwood residence on April 25th was a
first-of-the-season ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK.

Seen at Englewood MetroPark on April 24th were more than 24 species,
including PECTORAL, SOLITARY, and SPOTTED SANDPIPER; LESSER
YELLOWLEGS, WILSON'S SNIPE, GREEN-BACKED HERON, NORTHERN PARULA,
YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER, EASTERN BLUEBIRD; and TREE, BARN, NORTHERN
ROUGH-WINGED, and BANK SWALLOW.

On April 23rd a first-of-the-season CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER was seen
at Charleston Falls Park.
