This is a Rare Bird Alert for Southwestern Ohio (Dayton) for Friday,
April 30, 2010, sponsored by the Dayton Audubon Society.

Seen at Englewood MetroPark on April 30th were first-of-the-season
YELLOW-THROATED VIREO, INDIGO BUNTING, MAGNOLIA WARBLER, and CHIMNEY
SWIFT, as well as WHITE-EYED VIREO.

On April 30th, a first-of-the-season SCARLET TANAGER was observed in
the Brookville area.

On April 30th, seen at Spring Valley Wildlife Area were
first-of-the-season INDIGO BUNTING and EASTERN WOOD-PEWEE.

On April 29th, seen at Aullwood Audubon Center were LOUISIANA
WATERTHRUSH, PURPLE FINCH, and first-of-the-season YELLOW-THROATED
VIREO, WOOD THRUSH, and NASHVILLE WARBLER.

On April 29th, a first-of-the-season ORCHARD ORIOLE, as well as
BALTIMORE ORIOLE and PROTHONOTARY and PALM WARBLER were seen at
Spring Valley Wildlife Area.
