Welcome to Pennsylvania Audubon's and the Patriot-News' Birdline. This Birdline
covers sightings made primarily during the week prior to Thursday, July 22,
2010.

CARBON COUNTY:
One BLUE GROSBEAK was observed at the Lehigh Gap Wildlife Refuge on July 17
(BH).

CENTRE COUNTY:
A check of Julian Wetlands on July 17 found 1 juvenile WHITE IBIS and 1 LEAST
SANDPIPER (DG).

An immature LITTLE BLUE HERON and 1 LEASST SANDPIPER were seen at Colyer Lake on
 July 21 (DW, RC).

LANCASTER COUNTY:
Conejohela Flats yielded up to 2 LITTLE BLUE HERONS, 1 CATTLE EGRET, 4 BALD
EAGLES, 67 GREATER YELLOWLEGS, 18 LESSER YELLOWLEGS, 1 SANDERLING, 2
SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPERS, 100 LEAST SANDPIPERS, 2 SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHERS and 3
BLUE GROSBEAKS between July 15 and 21 (BS, ME, JB, DB).

A pair of PEREGRINE FALCONS were seen near the bridge at Columbia on July 19
(ML).

A CERULEAN WARBLER was singing in Susquehannock State Park on July 21 (JB, DB).

LEBANON COUNTY:
The CHUCK-WILLS-WIDOW continues to be seen or heard along Tomstown Road through
at least July 16 (DD, BJ, JH).

LUZERNE COUNTY:
There was an unconfirmed report of a flock of GLOSSY IBIS in flight over
Wilkes-Barre on July 16 (CB).

PERRY COUNTY:
At least 3 CERULEAN WARBLERS were seen along Bower Mountain Road just off of
Laurel Run Road in Tuscarora State Forest on July 17 (AM, KK).
