My reporting area includes all of Lehigh and Northampton Counties with the
northern edge of the area reaching Beltzville State Park and the southern
edge reaching Peace Valley Park in Bucks County. Updates are typically done
every Thursday, more often when necessary.

NOW FOR THE BIRDS!
Sightings from the PEN ARGYL area, Northampton County included:
BLUE GROSBEAKS - 2 on 6/9 (at the Grand Central landfill).
Sightings from the NAZARETH area, Northampton County included:
WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILLS - 5 on 6/5 (at the Boro Park).
Sightings from BAKE OVEN KNOB, Lehigh County included:
Hooded, Cerulean, and Worm-eating Warbler.
And along nearby Church Road: Horned Lark, Bobolink, and Vesper, Savannah,
and Grasshopper Sparrow.
Sightings from the HENNINGSVILLE area, Berks County included:
PINE SISKIN - 1 on 6/7.
Sightings from PEACE VALLEY PARK, Bucks County included:
RUDDY TURNSTONES - 143 on back on 6/1 ('fly-by's)
PROTHONOTARY WARBLER - 1 to at least 6/6 (at the Chapman Road bridge)
YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT - 1 continued through this past week.
Also Double-crested Cormorant, Bald Eagle, Red-shouldered Hawk, Black-billed
and Yellow-billed Cuckoo, Willow Flycatcher, and White-eyed Vireo.
A little farther afield, a MISSISSIPPI KITE was seen near Hawk Mountain
Sanctuary on 6/10.
