My reporting area includes all of Lehigh and Northampton Counties with the 
northern edge of the area reaching Beltzville State Park and the southern 
edge reaching Peace Valley Park in Bucks County.  Updates are typically done 
every Friday, more often when necessary.

NOW FOR THE BIRDS!

Sightings from the PEN ARGYL area, Northampton County included:
Bald Eagle and Common Raven.

Sightings from JACOBSBURG STATE PARK, Northampton County included:
Cerulean Warbler - 1 on 8/17.
Also Willow Flycatcher, White-eyed Vireo, Scarlet Tanager, and Blue-winged, 
Canada, Chestnut-sided, and Black-throated Green Warbler.

Sightings from WILLIAMS TOWNSHIP, Northampton County included:
Common Nighthawk, Willow Flycatcher, Canada Warbler, and Bobolink.

Sightings from BETHLEHEM TOWNSHIP, Northampton County included:
EURASIAN COLLARED-DOVES - no reports from this past week (at the 
intersection of Freemansburg Avenue and Wagner Drive).

Sightings from EAST ALLEN TOWNSHIP, Northampton County included:
MOURNING WARBLER - 1 on 8/15 (in a private backyard).

Sightings from the MACUNGIE area, Lehigh County included:
Hooded Warbler - 1 on 8/16 (in a private backyard).

Sightings from SALISBURY TOWNSHIP, Lehigh County included:
At Franko Farm Park:
MOURNING WARBLER - 1 on 8/18.

Sightings from GREEN LANE RESERVOIR, Montgomery County included:
At the Church Road area:
"PLEGADIS" IBIS - 1 immature on 8/13 and 8/14 (probably GLOSSY IBIS)
RED KNOTS - 4 on 8/15
Stilt Sandpipers - 52 on 8/15 (new high count)
Black-bellied Plovers - 8 on 8/15
Lesser Yellowlegs - ~250 on 8/15
Least Sandpipers - ~500 on 8/15.
Also Great Egret, Semipalmated Plover, Greater Yellowlegs, and Pectoral, 
Spotted, Solitary, and Semipalmated Sandpiper.
At the Walt Road area:
Forster's Terns - 2 on 8/16.
