At Dashields Dam on 6/10, 1 OSPREY (MVas).
On 6/13 in the Imperial area, sights and sounds included 1 WILLOW
FLYCATCHER, 4+ PRAIRIE WARBLERS, 3+ SAVANNAH SPARROWS, 2+ GRASSHOPPER
SPARROWS, CEDAR WAXWINGS, BROWN THRASHERS (AT).
BEAVER COUNTY:
On 6/12 along the Beaver River in New Brighton, 1 drake COMMON MERGANSER
(MVas).
In Monaca on 6/14, PEREGRINE FALCONS (SG).
On 6/14 at the Ambridge Reservoir, 1 BLACK-THROATED GREEN WARBLER, 1
DOUBLE-CRESTED CORMORANT, and others (MVas).
At Montgomery Dam Road in Potter Township on 6/14, large colony of BANK
SWALLOWS, 1 PROTHONOTARY WARBLER, KENTUCKY WARBLER (MVas).
On 6/14 at Independence Marsh, 2 GREEN HERONS and others (MVas).
CLARION COUNTY:
(This line was accidentally included in last week's report): on 6/8 in the
Piney Tract area, 1 BOHEMIAN WAXWING, PRAIRIE WARBLER, SAVANNAH SPARROW,
HENSLOW'S SPARROW, GRASSHOPPER SPARROW, CLAY-COLORED SPARROW, BOBOLINK
(LAR).
On 6/10 at the Curllsville strips, 6+ singing CLAY-COLORED SPARROWS,
SAVANNAH SPARROWS, GRASSHOPPER SPARROWS, HENSLOW'S SPARROWS, BOBOLINKS, 2+
AMERICAN WOODCOCKS (CW).
CRAWFORD COUNTY:
On 6/10 in the Pymatuning area, sightings included MARSH WREN, ALDER
FLYCATCHER, WILLOW FLYCATCHER, SWAMP SPARROW, PROTHONOTARY WARBLER, PURPLE
MARTIN, BALD EAGLE, DOUBLE-CRESTED CORMORANT, BOBOLINK, SAVANNAH SPARROW
(RN). On 6/13 at Miller's ponds, 1 hen AMERICAN WIGEON, 1 drake BLUE-
WINGED TEAL, pair of GREEN-WINGED TEAL; also in the Pymatuning area that
day, FORSTER'S TERN, 3 RUDDY DUCKS, 3 CASPIAN TERNS, 1 OSPREY (MVas).
ERIE COUNTY:
On 6/11 at Presque Isle State Park, 2 PEREGRINE FALCONS (JM).
INDIANA COUNTY:
From last week: in Clarksburg on 6/7, AMERICAN WOODCOCK (MC).
On 6/9 in Clarksburg, PINE SISKIN (MC).
LAWRENCE COUNTY:
On 6/12 at the Three Rivers gravel pond in New Beaver, sightings included
1 COMMON LOON, 1 RED-BREASTED MERGANSER, 4 PIED-BILLED GREBES (adult and
young) (MVas).
WASHINGTON COUNTY:
On 6/12 in Claysville, 1 BALD EAGLE (CC).
WESTMORELAND COUNTY:
Over Murrysville on 6/8, 1 possible AMERICAN WHITE PELICAN (reported to
MVan; one possible sighting also reported to Ben Coulter last month).
On 6/14 from Sky View Road on Mountain Streams Trail to Auckerman Road and
up Camp Run Trail, sightings included a leg-banded Louisiana Waterthrush,
VEERY (KSJ).
