On September 9, at Lake Tyler East, where Highway 64 crosses the lake east
of Tyler, I observed 1 BUFF-BREASTED, 2 SOLITARY and 1 WESTERN SANDPIPER,
and 1 LESSER YELLOWLEGS yesterday. These birds were on the mudflats, and
visible from the parking lot.

Today, September 10, there were 11 WOOD STORKS, 3 TRICOLORED HERONS, 1
ANHINGA, 1 WILSON'S WARBLER, 1 LEAST FLYCATCHER and 1 WILLOW/ALDER
FLYCATCHER at Richland Creek WMA in Freestone County.
