Dallas County: A Selasphorus hummingbird, almost surely a Rufous, was
reported in a yard two miles North of White Rock Lake. I have not had the
opportunity to contact the home owner to see if viewing the bird will be
possible. Arahapho Park in North Dallas County produced large numbers of
migrating passerines yesterday, Sept 1. Here is the list of warblers seen:
Canada Warbler - 5
Prothonotary Warbler - 1
Mourning Warbler - 18
Black-and-white - 9
Yellow Warbler - 35
Wilson's Warbler - 30
Northern Waterthrush - 2
Yellow-breasted Chat - 1
Nashville Warbler - 2
Also present was a very early Ruby-crowned Kinglet and a Blue-headed Vireo.

Tarrant County: A probable COUCH'S KINGBIRD was reported this morning from
the shore of Lake Worth in Tarrant County. The bird was seen moving down the
shore of the lake along Heron Road. When last seen it was approaching the
area of the "Castle". The bird was well described and photographed. An Alder
Flycatcher was also reported in the area.
