At Mitchell Lake on Saturday a lot of warblers were seen: Yellow
Warblers and Yellow-breasted Chat.
Also reported seen this week were 2 Dickcissels, Brown Thrasher, at an
in-town residence.
At Mitchell Lake on Sunday were 3 Groove-billed Anis, and Upland
Sandpiper, 2 Couch’s Kingbirds, 1 Orchard Oriole and the Least Grebes
were in Edward’s Pond.  Also 2 Black-throated Green Warblers were seen.

On Another trip to Mitchell Lake there were 1 Cinnamon Teal, 1 Pintail,
a Swainson’s Hawk, Black-crowned Night Heron, Baltimore Oriole.

Last Saturday at Mitchell Lake, there were Black Terns, a Buff-bellied
Sandpiper, over 1000 Least Sandpipers, an Olive-sided Flycatcher, and
Pectoral Sandpipers.

A report of 3 Wood Storks came from just over the Atascosa county line
from San Antonio. This is her first sighting in 25 years at this place.

Sat. Sept 2 at Castroville Regional Park there were Yellow Warblers and
Green Kingfishers.
